Eagle County's eighth Dusty Boot Colorado-Eagle River Ride - a one-day, 100-mile, 100 Km or 42-mile bicycle ride looping from Beaver Creek to Wolcott up CO Highway 131 to Colorado River Road down to Dotsero and back to Beaver Creek - is back!
The ride takes cyclists through the Eagle River Valley up the rural setting of Highway 131 and along the Colorado River. Most importantly, proceeds from the event will go to SOS Outreach. This year's ambassador is Mike Kloser, three time EcoChallenge winner and former World Cup Mountain Bike champion.

Packet pick up will be on July 24th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Beaver Creek Resort Elk Day Lot. The Elk Lot is located at the base of Beaver Creek Resort to the west of the main entrance. If you cannot pick it up on July 24th, you can pick up your packet at the start line between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. on the morning of the race.
Why Ride?
The Dusty Boot Colorado-Eagle River Ride is an important fund-raiser for the nonprofit organization, SOS Outreach, or SOS. Your registration fee goes directly to cover the costs of the event. Please consider making an additional donation or becoming a fundraiser for SOS as you complete the 2009 event. Together, we will provide a year-round, adventure-based curriculum to 5,000 youth nationally.
A Word About Safety
Riders are required to wear ANSI or SNELL approved helmets, ride in accordance with State of Colorado traffic laws, ride single file, and stay to the right side of the road. Colorado State Patrol and local officials will issue citations for failure to do so. Colorado weather changes quickly, and this course should be hot. Participants must wear rider identification.
